Confirmed So Far

Fontainebleau Miami Beach

Fontainebleau Miami Beach announced on October 29, 2026 that David Guetta will headline a fully indoor New Year’s Eve show in its Sparkle Theatre, from 9 pm to 2 am, for guests 21 and older. “General admission tickets start at $200 for a limited early bird offer and include a premium open bar,” the hotel said. Its Family Experience at the Coastal Convention Center starts at $375 for ages 11 and up and $200 for ages 5 to 10, and is free for children 4 and under, with buffet seatings, a rooftop silent disco and a midnight livestream of the countdown. The hotel said its Prime 54 and Hakkasan menus are “priced at $220 and $320 per person.” The hotel’s 2025 New Year’s pages, also with David Guetta, are still online with different prices, so make sure what you buy says December 31, 2026, and buy only through the hotel’s official channels.

Four Seasons Hotel Miami, Brickell

The Four Seasons Hotel Miami invites guests to “welcome 2027” with a New Year’s Eve dinner at NUNA, a party at Séptimo, where “Cocktail attire is encouraged,” and a family countdown on the rooftop pool deck for registered hotel guests only. Prices were not posted as of October 31, 2026. In Surfside, the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club lists its New Year’s plans as “To Be Confirmed.”

Fort Lauderdale

The City of Fort Lauderdale lists its free Downtown Countdown for Thursday, December 31, 2026, from 4:30 pm to 1 am at SW 2nd Street and SW 5th Avenue, with a lighted anchor drop at midnight. The city says most road closures begin Thursday, December 31 at 7 am, one segment of SW 2nd Street closes a day earlier, and roads reopen Friday, January 1, 2027 at 9 am. The page also carries a November 2025 update stamp, so check it again in December.

West Palm Beach

The City of West Palm Beach invites visitors to “Ring in 2027” at a free waterfront dance party on the Great Lawn, 100 N. Clematis Street, from 8 pm to midnight on December 31, ending with “a 15-minute display over the Intracoastal Waterway.” The city says parking details are coming soon.

Not Yet Announced for 2026

  • Bayfront Park, downtown Miami. The Bayfront Park calendar had no December 31, 2026 event as of October 31. The 2025 countdown there was a free concert and fireworks show with a paid VIP open bar, Axios reported. In the meantime, the InterContinental Miami next door lists a December 31, 2026 rooftop fireworks-viewing event, according to the Greater Miami and Miami Beach visitor site.
  • Miami Beach. The City of Miami Beach launched fireworks from Lummus Park at 11:59 pm on December 31, 2025; its 2026 calendar showed no fireworks as of October 31.
  • Hotel galas. We found no published 2026 New Year’s Eve program at Faena, The Setai, 1 Hotel South Beach, The Miami Beach EDITION, The Ritz-Carlton South Beach or Acqualina as of October 31.
  • MICHELIN-starred dinners. None of the 14 Miami-area restaurants with stars in the MICHELIN Guide Florida 2026 selection had posted a 2026 New Year’s Eve menu as of October 31. For scale, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon’s five-course menu was $325 per person in 2025, Miami New Times reported.

Watching From the Water

Fireworks barges on Biscayne Bay have come with Coast Guard safety zones that boats must stay outside; in 2012, for example, the zones extended 280 yards around barges off Bayfront Park and off Miami Beach. No 2026 notice had been published as of October 31, so check Coast Guard notices before you go out.

If you charter, the U.S. Coast Guard advises checking that the captain holds a Merchant Mariner Credential, asking to see the Certificate of Inspection for boats carrying more than six passengers, and not boarding “if the operator cannot produce appropriate credentials.” It also warns that if an illegal voyage is stopped, “payment made by passengers may be lost.”

Practical Notes

  • Weather. NOAA’s 1991–2020 normals for December 31 at Miami International Airport are a high of 77°F and a low of 62°F. New Year’s Eve 2025 was chilly, CBS Miami reported, so bring a layer.
  • Getting around. On New Year’s Eve 2025, Miami-Dade’s Metrorail and Metromover ran until 2 am, Time Out Miami reported; Metromover has a stop at Bayfront Park. 2026 hours had not been announced.
  • Hotel stays. We found no published New Year’s Eve 2026 room rates. Four Seasons Hotel Miami’s current offer requires a two-night minimum, and The Surf Club’s fourth-night-free offer excludes December 22 to 31, 2026, so it does not cover the holiday.
  • Safety. Miami-Dade’s sheriff and police chiefs warned against celebratory gunfire before New Year’s Eve 2025, Local 10 reported.

Questions to Ask Before You Book

  1. Is this listing for December 31, 2026? Several pages still show last year’s event, so ask for the date, lineup and inclusions in writing.
  2. What does the ticket include: open-bar hours, food, seating or standing room, and a view of fireworks? Is it indoors or outdoors, and what is the rain plan?
  3. What is the all-in price with tax, service charge and gratuity, and what is the refund or transfer policy?
  4. Is the event only for registered hotel guests, and is there a minimum stay over New Year’s Eve?
  5. What are the dress code and the age policy?
  6. For a charter: is the captain credentialed, can I see the Certificate of Inspection if more than six passengers are aboard, and where will the boat sit relative to any fireworks safety zone?
  7. What are the road closures, valet or garage cutoffs, and the nearest transit stop or rideshare drop-off?
  8. For a dinner: what are the seating times, is the menu fixed, are wine pairings and a midnight toast included, and how much is the deposit?

The Bottom Line

As of October 31, 2026, Fontainebleau, Four Seasons Hotel Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach have confirmed New Year’s Eve plans; Miami’s Bayfront Park countdown, Miami Beach’s fireworks and most hotel galas have not. Book the confirmed options early, and get everything else in writing once it is announced.
