Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas: Where to Dine, Where to Stay and Pier Sixty-Six
Las Olas Boulevard runs from downtown Fort Lauderdale across the Intracoastal to the beach, and around it you will find the area’s only MICHELIN-starred restaurant at the Four Seasons, a Bib Gourmand pick in Flagler Village, waterfront dining on the New River, and Pier Sixty-Six, which reopened in January 2025 with a superyacht marina. This guide covers the restaurants, the hotels, getting around and what is new, as of October 31, 2026.
Facts come from each restaurant’s and hotel’s own website, the City of Fort Lauderdale, Visit Lauderdale and established press, as dated below. Hours, prices and openings change; confirm before you go.

The Boulevard
The Las Olas Company, founded in 1935, says the boulevard became a major shopping district in the early 1950s. Near its downtown end, the Stranahan House, built in 1901, which the museum calls “Fort Lauderdale’s oldest surviving structure,” has self-guided tickets from $13. The Riverwalk follows the New River through downtown, with a free jazz concert, the Sunday Jazz Brunch, in Esplanade Park on the first Sunday of each month, according to Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale.
Getting around: the city’s Las Olas Garage at 200 E Las Olas Circle charges $4 an hour, according to the City of Fort Lauderdale. The Water Taxi normally runs daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with stops at the Riverside Hotel and Stranahan House, the Las Olas shops and Pier 66; during the boat show it runs for the show only, and regular service resumes November 2, according to Water Taxi.
Where to Eat
Greater Fort Lauderdale kept all five of its MICHELIN recognitions in the 2026 Florida guide, with no new additions, Visit Lauderdale reported in May 2026. See the MICHELIN Guide for the full list.
- Chef’s Counter at MAASS, at the Four Seasons: chef Ryan Ratino’s 14-seat counter inside the kitchen holds One MICHELIN star, the area’s only star. MAASS books through OpenTable, according to the restaurant.
- Evelyn’s, on the Four Seasons’ Ocean Sun Deck: Eastern Mediterranean cooking that pairs “Levantine techniques and Florida’s seasonal bounty,” according to the restaurant; MICHELIN Recommended.
- Heritage, 903 NE 5th Ave in Flagler Village: chef-owner Rino Cerbone’s Italian restaurant, the area’s only Bib Gourmand, Visit Lauderdale reported. It is closed Monday and Tuesday and books through Resy.
- Daniel’s, A Florida Steakhouse, 620 S Federal Hwy: MICHELIN Recommended about six months after opening, Time Out reported.
- NAIA, 904 E Las Olas Blvd: The Restaurant People’s Mediterranean and Asian restaurant opened in October 2026, Resident reported, and books through OpenTable.
- Boatyard, 1555 SE 17th St, on the Intracoastal: “Reservations guarantee both a boat slip and a table for up to six guests,” the restaurant says.
- Calusso, at Pier Sixty-Six: European-leaning crudos and pastas with tableside lobster Parmesan, according to Forbes Travel Guide.
Coming, not yet open
- Caviar Club, on Las Olas Boulevard: its website still said “Coming to Las Olas 2026” on October 31, though Visit Lauderdale had announced an October 27 opening.
- Motek by the Sea, at the W: open only for takeout and delivery when we checked; Visit Lauderdale reported it would open at the W this November.
- Pelican Landing, at Pier Sixty-Six: “returns this fall,” Visit Lauderdale reported, with no date.
Where to Stay
- Pier Sixty-Six: reopened in January 2025 after a redevelopment the resort puts at about $1 billion, with 325 rooms and suites, a 13,000-square-foot spa, and a marina of 164 slips for yachts up to 400 feet, according to the resort and Forbes Travel Guide. Its restaurants include Calusso and Pier Top, the 17th-floor rotating lounge. It was redeveloped by Tavistock Development Company, the resort says.
- Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale: opened in March 2022 with 129 rooms, 19 suites and 41 hotel residences, according to its fact sheet. Its spa holds a Forbes Five-Star rating for 2026.
- The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale: on the beach near Las Olas, with a 2026 Forbes Four-Star award, according to the hotel.
- W Fort Lauderdale: beachfront, with six restaurants and bars including Steak 954, according to Marriott.
- Riverside Hotel, 620 E Las Olas Blvd: “a Las Olas landmark since 1936,” long associated with The Las Olas Company, with a renovated pool.
- Hyatt Centric Las Olas: 238 rooms and suites, with a rooftop pool and bar, according to Hyatt.
No Fort Lauderdale hotel holds a MICHELIN Key in the 2026 selection; the Four Seasons and Pier Sixty-Six are in the Guide’s wider hotel list. A five-star hotel called The Whitfield, with 81 rooms at 1007 E Las Olas Blvd, was approved by the city in January 2025 and expected to open in late 2026, Hotel Online reported; we found no update confirming an opening date.
